"We are in a critical and delicate moment." Josep Crespo, Mayor of the Environment, has detailed the amounts considered in the first review:
- Removal of debris from beaches: 36.000 euros
- Dune damage in Els Molins: 46.000 euros
- Dune damage in Les Deveses: 100.000 euros
- Removing tons of algae 400: 10.000 euros
- Lavapiés damage: 100.000 euros
- Leisure infrastructure damage and posters: 50.000 euros
- Replacement of sand in Les Deveses (70.000 m3): 900.000 euros
- Replenishment of sand in The Bovetes (55.000 m3): 450.000 euros
- Blay sand replenishment Beach (600 m3): 50.000 euros
- Use of machinery: 300.000 euros
All this information, with appropriate photographs, has already been sent to the Provincial Coastal Service to assess the damage. Crespo recalled that during the stormy days, the cleaning company PAVASAL beaches doubled both its people and its machinery.
Changing Profile of the beaches
