In less than two weeks, the City Council of Dénia will receive 776.000 euros corresponding to the Feder Funds allocated by the European Union for the execution of the Déniafutur project. This was announced by MEP Eva Ortiz, who met with the Mayoress of Dénia, Ana KringeTo treat the release of these funds.
This amount finances 70% corresponding to the European Union of the redevelopment projects of the historic center (Plaza de la Constitución, Plaza del Consell and the tunnel of the castle).
Due to the delay in receiving this aid, Dénia had to renounce the construction of the Bosc de Diana, which would be the new green lung of the city. Currently, the city is working against the clock to finish, before 31 in December, non-motorized platforms, ways to circulate on foot or by bicycle, whose objectives are to improve efficiency in the mobility of the city, ensure accessibility, increase the safety of the users, improve the quality of life of the citizens and contribute to the economic dynamism by favoring the connection between different areas of the city.
