Crispation in the plenary session of Dénia before the motion against the repeal of laws promulgated by the Botànic

28 March 2024 - 16: 05

The plenary session of Dénia has approved, with the votes against PP and Vox, a motion urging the Generalitat Valenciana to stop the repeal of the laws on Multilingualism, Democratic Memory, the recovery of Valencian Public Radio and Television, the Transparency Law and the Anti-Fraud Law of the Botànic government, which it intends to undo the new Valencian autonomous government.

In the session held this Thursday, Rafa CarrióCouncilman Compromís, has defended the motion alluding to the fact that the elimination of these laws will have an impact on the reputation of the Valencian Community. Carrió has asked for the support of the rest of the groups in the plenary session for "the defense of progress, transparency and justice in the Valencian Country."

Félix Redondo, Vox councilor, has expressed his disagreement: «We would like our Statutes of Autonomy to be respected, where article 1 establishes that the name of this territory is the Valencian Community, not the joke that País Valencià or "Country of Valencia" of Neverland."

The councilor has attacked the previous Botànic government saying that "they signed several grants for a total of almost 250.000 euros, of which some ended up in the hands of Catalan associations."

Furthermore, Redondo has stated that left-wing parties have "Catalanized" the Valencian language and that parents "must be free to choose in which language their children are educated."

Regarding democratic memory, the Vox politician has denounced that it "only dignifies the victims of Francoism" and has mentioned "the forgetfulness" of the victims of ETA or the Grapo.

«It is clear that you Compromís and PSPV "Talk about impunity for politicians," Redondo concluded and added: "What happened to the case of the warded minors? Why is the brother of Ximo Puig?..."

On behalf of the Popular Party, Councilor LLanos Ygarza, has shown her "total disagreement" with this motion and has only shown her support for point 10 in which the Generalitat Valenciana is urged to continue with the persecution of corrupt practices in the public administrations.

After these interventions the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, has invited the PP councilors to look for news in the press about politicians from their party who are indicted and locked up in prison: "You should be ashamed to say what you just said," said Grimalt.

For his part, Rafa Carrió has responded to the Vox councilor alluding to the fact that there have been references to the Valencian Country in writings for centuries.

"They defend freedom, but they are in favor of the ban on Valencian, therefore, they are against the regulations," said the Compromís councilor. Furthermore, Carrió has stated that Vox "uses Valencian for confrontation" and added that "whoever hates the language, hates Valencians."

Finally, Félix Redondo has defended himself by saying that he does not hate Valencians and is as Valencian as Carrió. Regarding the language, he has concluded that it is Compromís and PSPV "that prohibited speaking Spanish for 8 years."

Controversy with the motion to support the agricultural sector

The Dénia government has also approved, with PP voting against, a motion to support the agricultural sector with measures such as ensuring fair prices for producers or establishing measures to prevent fruit theft.

From Vox, Félix Redondo has demanded explanations because in the commission that handled the matter it was established that it would be presented as a joint amendment and it has finally been presented by the PSPV and Compromís parties. In addition, he has asked to know with which associations these parties have met to discuss the proposed measures. "They have not counted on us at all," declared the councilor.

From the PP, Esteban Chornet has continued along the lines of Vox and has denounced "the lack of transparency and dialogue by presenting an alternative motion to the one that was left on the table" and has accused the Dénia government of "using farmers to gain the photo", something they describe as "demagogue".

The Councilor for the Environment, Sandra Gertrúdix, has responded that the meetings were with the representatives of the farmers' associations of Dénia and, regarding the joint amendment, no interest has been shown on the part of the opposition groups in this regard. "We do not use farmers, we work hand in hand with them," the councilor concluded.

The botanic was nothing more than a meeting of criminals starting with the psoe and ending with compromis.
Thieves and ass-lickers from the pro-independence Nazis who kidnap Catalans and prohibit Spaniards from speaking Spanish.
Thank God we have gotten them out of our way... God willing, forever.

Dafür gibt is not a Sprachschule.
Die Kinder werden benachteiligt wenn sie nur valenciano sprechen
