Montgo workshops on birds and native plants in the house of Iryda

The Nature Classroom of the Casa del Iryda has hosted different workshops and outreach activities carried out by monitors of the Natural Park Montgó, in collaboration with the Department of the Environment of the Dénia City Council.

45 pupils of primary school 5º Montgó participated in a workshop on Montgo birds and other native plants.

The workshop birds evolved in the pine forest of the Casa del Iryda, where he held a practice of placing different nest boxes in trees, reinforcing the explanation with a graphic panel showing the importance of birds in the Mediterranean forest.

The workshop native plants school planted a seed in a pot of native plants (myrtle) and were shown various seeds of different fruits.
