Literary Route in Dénia and Ibiza in the footsteps of great writers

Associated Center of the UNED in Dénia organized for the weekend's first literary tour that takes place in our location within the project that the National University of Distance Education launched with the purpose of disseminating and publicizing in-depth different writers, as well as places that appear in their lives and works.

The route Literature and Mediterranean. Max Aub, Marià Villangómez and Miguel Espinosa It began on Saturday 15 June with a reading of texts of the Valencian writer Max Aub, who conducted the Coordinator of University Extension of the Summer Courses Jaume Tortosa, with the sea as a common denominator, followed by a visit to the historical sites Dénia most relevant: the Toy Museum, Ethnological museum y the castle, among others. The Councilor for Culture and Tourism, Pepa Font, Welcomed the participants before starting the journey from the Tourist Office.

After a meal in the port of Denia, where he also discussed texts of the writer Miguel Espinosa; The group, composed of a total of 26 participants began the journey to Ibiza, where they awaited an exhibition about the life and work of the poet, playwright and translator Marià Villangómez this year and from day 10 January celebrates the centenary of his birth. Associated Center of the UNED in the Balearic Islands presented to all participants with a copy of the book Marià Villangómez: des de l'illa and he invited the group to make a tour of the town: from Dalt Vila to the port of the island.

The schedule of activities was completed the next day, on the way back to Dénia on the boat, with a writing workshop taught by the writer Enrique Valladares, short story specialist and professor at the Madrid Writers' Workshop under the title Sea and literary creativityWhere the participants of the literary route could unleash your imagination in the composition and proofreading.
