podem Dénia has decided to appear alone in the municipal elections in Dénia next May after having held meetings with different political groups in the municipality.
And it is that, as it was agreed in the last assembly of the circle, they contacted Compromís, Esquerra Unida and Guanyem. They were all moved by the intention to create "a common framework to face the inequalities and irregularities of the town hall and give voice and decision to the residents of the town hall" and all making clear the minimum required by the party, including "Accept the ethical principles of Podemos and an electoral program, which as a first objective has to respond to social emergencies and audit the contracting and treasury processes".
In the first meeting, held with Compromís, the nationalist group rejected the proposal because of its intention to attend the elections alone, but left the door open for future collaborations.
Esquerra Unida also rejected the proposal by sending them to Guanyem, and the latter refused to creating a common framework but not before exchanging some proposals.
Friday February 13 in Podem VII Assembly, the conclusions of the meetings were moved and decided, by majority vote, to participate in the elections alone, assuming the effort to make an election program "with great participation of the citizens and social groups of Dénia and an open candidacy for participation and submitted to the election and order of the neighbors who compose it"They say from the platform.
