Yesterday we attended a press conference of the Cedma, the Association of promoters and builders and the Federation of neighborhood associations of Denia, where we were informed of the realization of workshops open to all citizens to talk about the fashion theme, the General Structural Plan of Denia.
I advise all the residents of Denia to come and participate in these workshops because this General Plan is the future of Denia, the future of all the citizens who live and work here.
A General Plan marks the urban planning of our city, but also marks the economic future of our city, our future modus vivendi and, as a consequence, the economic future of all of Denia's neighbors. It's not worth that "Since I don't have any affected land or housing, I don't care"neither that "Oops, how complicated is this topic".
It's not all about construction. In Dénia we have many liberal professionals, many shops, a lot of industrial sector, many restaurateurs, many restaurateurs, many autonomous people ... and we not only live from tourism, we also try to live from all those companies that want to come and invest in Dénia, to establish its headquarters here. And, to this day and as it goes this General Plan, all this is going to be very, but that very difficult.
What has happened, for example, with the shopping center they wanted to do at the entrance to Denia and 800 offers jobs, movies and leisure for our young people and the convenience of not having to move to another municipality? I already told you. The company that was to invest here and fill the municipal coffers with many millions of euros and create many jobs has gone to a town next to Madrid where they have put the red carpet. Of course! This is logical.
Well, if this worries you, go to the workshops and, if you consider it necessary, claim everything that you have to claim so that our voice is heard, so that our economy does not stagnate (I say it because of the amount of meters of soil that they claim leave as agricultural - blessed farmers that their sweat is difficult to carry out their crops -) and that our city is a source of wealth for all those who live here and all those who want to come to invest in our city.
Think and consult with the pillow if they are going to miss this opportunity or they will try to have their voice heard, or rather, be heard and heeded.
PD: I know, because that was what the organizers said at the press conference, that they had personally called all the spokespersons of the political groups with municipal representation one by one. Interestingly, he was not a representative or PSPV neither of COMMITMENT, nor of WE CAN. Draw your own conclusions of how much the opinions of your neighbors and workers - businessmen from Denia should be imported to us to improve a General Plan that is supposed to be everyone's. But that is another issue that we will continue to discuss and that we have already reported on other occasions.
