Opinion María Mut (PP): «Chance or Causality?»

31 October 2018 - 15: 24

In the past, as you all know, it took, as a matter of urgency, as usual with these parties that govern us, a motion to urge the Ministry to make our port an autonomous body.

Given the importance of the topic, the Party de Dénia contacted the agents involved in the port, that is, with the Real Club Naútico, with the Marina de Denia, with the Posit, with the fishermen ... And what was our surprise when we found out that nobody from the government team had met with them. Do not you think it's amazing that such a crucial and important issue for the life and development of our port and our city has been carried with such secrecy and without any dialogue? Is it chance? Or will it be causality?

They argue PSOE and Compromis, which is a historical claim and a very important issue for this city. And, under my humble opinion, would not it have been easier to do things right?

I explain it to you.

The two parties that govern us had in their electoral program to make the port of Denia an autonomous body. The time has been thrown over them and they have not been able to argue how it touches the importance of this claim. For not being able, they have not been able to meet with all those who work and have their life linked to the port.

The two parties that govern us, I do not know if by causality or by chance, they had the same interest that this motion had gone ahead unanimously. We proposed to leave it on the table two weeks for further study and to receive the necessary reports that are required by law and that they draft in their motion. And, of course, they said no.

The two parties that govern us have managed to get Dénia to wake up (that PSOE electoral motto yes they have managed to fulfill it) and put the shout in the sky at this request to Conselleria.

With a little bit of common sense, the one that is sorely lacking lately in our society, and with a little bit of interest, just a little bit, they could have given us the necessary reports and could have explained to the whole world what it is that our port be an autonomous body.

It seems that a large part of civil society (call unions, sailors, people working in the port ...) are not satisfied with this decision. Very pleasant surprise that we have found and that more than one will have made your lip wrinkle !!

And it is not because it is contrary to this government team, but because, I repeat, it would have been easier, much easier, to explain what that project is and what will benefit us, or not, as citizens and neighbors of a place called Dénia.

To this day, except to repeat ad nauseam that it is a historical claim, there has been no explanation or argumentation about it. Neither for good, nor for bad.

Get your own conclusions.
