The center of the UNED of Dénia gave, last week, a Workshop of Study Techniques for students of the Access to the University course aimed at older people of 25 and 45 who do not have any degree of access to university studies.
This free, face-to-face workshop lasted three days and was given by Carmen Más, Coordinator of the COIE and tutor teacher UNED of Dénia and Salvador Fuster, Virtualization Manager and tutor of the UNED of Dénia.
In the course the organization and planning were included, according to the considerations of the profile of UNED students and of the blended modality of our center, it was explained how to study and manage time. Also, on the second day, the techniques based on reading, underlining, outline and summary were seen in depth. Highlighting the importance of reading, a fundamental element for intellectual formation. In addition, the preparation and conduct of the tests was explained.
On the third day, the UNED Campus, the ALF Platform and the Virtual Course were explained in detail. Informing about the Wi-Fi Networks of the Associated Center, the portal www.uneddenia.es, and other aspects of the web.
