The Youth Department of the Dénia City Council, in collaboration with the Red Cross, have organized a Theatrical Improvisation workshop that will take place next Thursday, March 7. The workshop will be taught by the Impromurcia theater company, which has been dedicated for several years to improvising stories on stage in a fun and entertaining way, and above all, involving the audience.
Improvisation theater is a genre, unlike traditional theatre, in which actors create a story in the moment, without relying on a written script, where each character, each scene, each situation is created on the fly. Furthermore, theatrical improvisation is a genre in itself, but it is also used as a technique in other theatrical genres. Improvisation can be comedic or dramatic, depending on the approach taken.
The Councilor for Sports, Valen Alcalá, has stated that "this activity, in addition to offering an alternative and healthy leisure option where you can venture into the world of theater, aims to enhance the emotional intelligence of the participants, favoring personal skills." and teamwork."
The workshop is aimed at young people between 16 and 30 years old and will be from 17:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m. in the Espai 0.0 of the Joventut building, located at Ronda Muralles, 42.
