One of the main problems in Dénia, and in all the Fallas towns, is the redirection of traffic while the festival period lasts. And, even more so, with the most anticipated as well as premature failures after a global pandemic. For this reason, the Dianense consistory has published the schedules and locations with outages and traffic problems during the next few days.
Traffic cuts in Dénia Fallas 2022
Thursday March 10
Falla Baix la Mar: at 08:00 a.m., traffic will be cut off at c/ Doctor Fleming - Ronda Murallas and Rotonda Miguel Hernández - c/ Marinas and c/ Sanchís Guarner, from c/ Senieta to c/ Doctor Fleming.
Traffic will remain open in Ronda Murallas towards the urban center and on Avd. Miguel Hernández, and the traffic coming from Temple Sant Telm will be diverted by c/ Pont.
Falla Saladar: at 19:00 p.m., traffic will be cut off at the following intersections: c/ Diana – Patricio Ferrándiz; c/ Diana – c/ Benissa; Saladar Walk – Carlos Street Sentí; the Paseo del Saladar (40 m. on both sides of the intersection with Diana).
Traffic will remain open on c/ Carlos Sentí, address c/ Calpe or Av. Marquesado and c/ Patricio Ferrándiz towards the port.
Friday March 11
Falla Oeste: from 08:00 a.m., traffic will be closed at the accesses to Plaza Valgamedios, cutting the following streets to traffic: Av. Gandía – Av. Castellón; c/ Benitatxell – Ronda Murallas; Av. Gandía – Av. Valencia.; Mayor –Valgamedios. Traffic will remain open on c/ Abu Zeyan, av. Castellón and Ronda Walls. In the morning, the direction of traffic will change in c/ Campotorres (from Avd. Alicante to c/ Estrella)
Paris Falla Pedrera: at 08:00 a.m., traffic will be cut off on c/ Sagunto from c/ Senija to c/ Patricio Ferrándiz, due to tent assembly.
Traffic will be cut off on Calle Patricio Ferrándiz from Plaza Jaume I to Calle Cartagena and on Calle Sagunto, from Paseo del Saladar to Calle Patricio Ferrándiz.
Traffic will remain open on Paseo del Saladar, Plaza Jaume I and Av. Alicante-Arxiduc Carles.
Saturday March 12
Falla Camp Roig: at 08:00, traffic will be cut off on c/ 9 d'Octubre, from c/ Mestre José Moncho to c/ Federico García Lorca. Traffic will remain open on c/ Mestre José Moncho and on avd. Marist Brothers.
Falla Port Rotes: at 09:00, traffic will be cut off on the last section of Marqués de Campo (from Temple Sant Telm to the Red Cross area); c/ Sandunga – c/ La Mar and Esplanada interior part – c/ La Mar.
Traffic may pass through the Esplanada Cervantes to c/ La Mar and through c/ Calderón to c/ Temple Sant Telm.
First Group Mariners: Plaza Pere Eiximen d'En Carròs will be closed to traffic from 8 am.
Sunday March 13
Falla Campaments: at 18:00 p.m., montage of the falla on av. Valencia and tent in c/ Mallorca. Therefore, the following traffic closures will be carried out: av. Valencia – Abu Zeyan, Av. Alicante – c/ Mallorca and Av. Valencia – Av. Gandía (access only for residents-fords).
Traffic will remain open on c/ Abu Zeyan, Av. Castellón and Av. Miguel Hernández.
Lunes de marzo 14
Falla Darrere: at 08:00 a.m., assembly of the fault in Miraflor street, the following streets will be closed to traffic: c/ San Roque – c/ Miraflor; Av. Miguel Hernández – c/ Miraflor; c/ Xábia – Adsubia and c/ Xàbia – c/ Llíber. Traffic will remain open on Ronda Murallas and Av. Miguel Hernández.
target failure: at 08:00 a.m., due to the erection of the tent and plantà of the fault in c/ Pintor Llorens, traffic will be cut off at the following intersections: c/ Pintor Llorens – Paseo Saladar; c/ Pintor Llorens-Avd. Marquisat.
Traffic will remain open on Paseo Saladar and Av. Marquesat towards Pintor Llorens Street - Av. Joan Fuster.
Falla Roques: from 12:00 noon, traffic will be closed at the following intersections: Av. del Cid – c/ Benicadim; Av. del Cid – c/ Beniatlà, c/ Sant Narcís – c/ Nou. What will affect the streets Sant Francesc, Stma. Trinitat, Sant Vicent de la Roqueta, Guant, Salt and Beniatlà. The traffic direction of c/ Beniatlà will be changed (from Avd. del Cid to Stma. Trinitat).
Center Faultor: from 08:00 a.m., traffic closure at the intersections of c/ Vt. Andrés Estellés with c/ Colón. Traffic will remain open on c/ Pare Pere towards c/ Ramon y Cajal.
