Citizens presented this Tuesday afternoon the candidacy with which he will attend the municipal elections of the next May 26 in Dénia. The head of the list, Sergio Benito, accompanied by his "Top 5", he broke down some brushstrokes of the campaign that starts this Friday.
Since Citizens bet on "a government that does not lie, that does not bung", that opens tourism beyond gastronomy and that attracts investments "sustainable and consistent" in the form of international schools, shopping centers or hotels.
Next to Benito will be, in the starting positions, Susana Mut, teacher of infant that has been marked like objective "rule for all and take Dénia seriously". As number 3 appears Estefanía Swam, a lawyer by profession who bets on the great potential that Dénia has. The number 4 is for Sonia Gavilà, administrative, who stressed that "Citizens is a party that promises, fulfills it". The Top 5 closes the current councilor, Esteban Chornet, who stressed the intention of "continue with the work we started 8 years ago".
Citizens attend these elections with the optimism of the good results harvested in the general and regional elections in Dénia, where they got 3.617 and 3.164 votes, respectively. For Benito, this constant vote, along with the work they have done during these four years in the opposition, "is going to weigh" in the voters.
Asked about possible pacts, Benito said that Citizens "there is no barrier at the local level", although they are aware that mathematically a pact with the PSPV-PSOE.
