The professor and coordinator of University Extension of the Center Associated to the UNED of Dénia, Jaume Tortosa, has presented this week the work done in a blog through which he exposes and recounts his literary experience, after reading more than 300 works of multiple genres and authors.
This online platform was created with the goal of being "an open and free space that invites to make a critical and reflexive reading" for the most critical readers. To this end, selected twelve readings Tortosa "worthy of being commented and studied, both for its aesthetic value and for its strictly literary wealth".
During his presentation he explained Tortosa "How is it possible to build and rebuild the canon from personal effort, intelligence itself and openly critical and flexible attitude" and analyzed the reading-reader binomial, defending the need for a critical reader "Try to clean the horizon of straw" and help "find quality in a very standardized market" where advertising and marketing grow "as instigating element of one type or another of reading".
