Today we have confirmed the prediction of the AEMET that we announced yesterday, at even higher levels. Water was expected, and hence the yellow alert that already accompanies us until Wednesday, but not with such intensity.
The Montgó meter collected 15,4 mm of water in the past midnight, but even without rest we will live with the rain, at least, until the weekend.
The AEMET has now extended the yellow alert until Wednesday afternoon for rain, waves on the coast and, as a novelty, for wind. Yesterday's predictions barely valued the presence of strong gusts of wind on land, but today they already warn that tomorrow will add to the other phenomena with gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour.
Nor was another rain expected, that of lightning, which seems to have had a special fixation on the Montgo. The mountain has been the main target of the Valencian Community during the early hours of the morning, as all the neighbors will have noticed. Lightning has momentarily illuminated the city, and thunder has made it rumble. Something that was not foreseen by the State Meteorological Agency.
