This week has come to an end IX Bicycle campaign organized by the Local Police in the city's schools, with the participation of a total of 642 5th grade students from the Maristas, Alfa & Omega schools, Sacred heart, Paidos, Cervantes, Montgó, Llebeig, Pou de la Muntanya and Raquel Payá from Dénia, the La Xara school and the Pare Pere de Jesús Pobre school.
To teach schoolchildren, local police agents moved to schools containing mobile Paque road markings, vertical signs and traffic lights, being able to simulate driving on streets, avenues and squares with rotational direction.
Through this activity, students have learned to properly meet this transport, to use it responsibly and safely; develop in students a sense of responsibility when driving the bicycle; raise awareness of the potential hazard to driving; know the rules and signals; develop positive habits in driving the bike and awareness of the essential helmet.
