The Department of Environment of the City of Dénia, in coordination with the educational centers, has carried out a total of sixteen environmental education activities during the 2012 / 2013 school year. A total of 4.294 students have participated Primary, Secondary and Training Cycles, as well as users of training actions of Creama or other groups of social reintegration.
The general objectives have been the acquisition of concepts, values and attitudes in order to interpret the environment where we live, knowing the problems and realities that affect the students and offer alternatives to different situations or behaviors with environmental repercussions in their daily lives.
The planned actions are based on the recommendations of the White Paper on Environmental Education in Spain, regarding the perspective of the impact of human action with its environment, proposing a global perspective when addressing appropriate solutions.
In addition, we have emphasized the knowledge of our values and attractive landscapes, through different environmental routes.
