Participatory workshops on the General Structural Plan Dénia opened its doors to foreign residents, who contributed their suggestions for urban document.
At a meeting attended by around 35 people, organizational team attended workshops requests from attendees, who were particularly interested in the inclusion of new green areas.
In addition, residents were concerned about the planned location for the future train and bus station; the possibility of replacing the current trenet with a tram at least within the urban area; the relief of traffic in the center and the fluidity and integration of Dénia with its port.
During this week the second workshop was held with the residents of Jesús Pobre, who have insisted on the need to expand the urban area towards the southern strip, enabling endowment land, reducing the growth area and therefore reducing the maximum number of homes to a hundred. The residents also suggest giving priority to non-motorized routes that favor the connection of the town with the nearest municipalities and the Natural Park Montgó.
At the meeting discussed that is managing the exchange of the green golf course on grounds of the town of Jesus Pobre environment and if before the last exposure to the public of the Plan will reach an agreement, it will be reflected in the PGE.
