Next December 2 on December the Mainel Foundation has organized a solidarity tournament at the La Sella golf course, in the middle Natural Park Montgó, in Dénia, to allocate the benefits obtained to the women and girls of Guatemala.
The Tournament contemplates the modalities of Knights and Ladies, and the registration includes Green Fee and food. The day will begin at nine in the morning with the reception of the players. The delivery of trophies and gifts is foreseen for the 16: 00 hours, after the meal that will be held in the club.
Likewise, the organization has negotiated special conditions for the accommodation of the participants who wish it, in the Vacation Specials La Sella Golf Resort Spa, indicating participation in the Mainel Foundation tournament when making the reservation.

The Mainel Foundation
The Mainel Foundation dedicates a program of micro-credits and scholarships to the most disadvantaged groups in Guatemala, specifically in the departments of Totonicapán, Quiché and Sololá, very impoverished areas in which only one in ten girls complete basic education, joining jobs in the field or in the domestic service, where many times they end up living in a situation of semi-slavery and abuse.
Mainel's experience in other cooperation projects shows that, with the same training and resources, women in these areas undertake more initiatives than men when they are adults and thereby contribute to the development of their families and their communities. Hence the granting of specific microcredits for women, which encourage them to carry out their small businesses.
