The Dénia Band fulfilled its objective, and made a packed Town Hall square vibrate in the traditional festive music concert that is part of the Moors and Christians program in honor of Sant Roc.

Dianense Javier Pinto had the task of directing the Musical Artistic Group of Dénia on such an important day, in which he chose well-known pieces and included two pieces composed by himself, Al-Kakiq-Istoba'l and the premiere of Cavallers of the TUO.

As a gift to the public, and outside the program, the band performed the unofficial anthem of the party, The Vell Montgó, lifting the festeros from their chairs to parade, shoulder to shoulder, with those who were next to them. Finally, the president of the FEMMICC, Rafa Cheli, delivered a thank-you plate to Javier Pinto, which he extended to the entire band.

The programming of Moors and Christians continues this afternoon with the landing, which will take place at 20:00 on the beach of the Punta del Raset.
