The tourist office 2012 cultural activities program

01 December 2011 - 13: 49

Knowing that tourism is the main source of income of the city, the council directed by Pepa Font has inaugurated this morning an exhibition in the local tourist information that will be the first of many events scheduled to match tourism and culture in Dénia throughout the next year.

The one in charge of giving the starting signal to this program has been the Dianense painter Juana María Noguera, who exhibits a series of 6 paintings focused on one of the most beautiful landscapes of our coast: the Cova Tallà. Juana María has declared to be impacted by the beauty of the place, which also keeps in its entrails part of the history of the city from the time of the Romans to the Civil War, through the reign of Felipe III.

The tourist office, which annually receives more than 180.000 visits, will become from now in a corner to spread our culture through exhibitions of painting, photography and craft demonstrations.

Comments
  1. Paco Denia says:

The "Respetabilisimas" people in this report are unaware or do not want to know that the crisis in Denia is affecting all the neighbors and especially "some more than others", and that if tourism is the only thing we have left, it could invest the city council in improving the infrastructures of the city, that some things are painful, and stop frivolity like the ones in this report, with the same people we always see, doing the same old ways, because the ship of the The economy is sinking us and the thing is not there to put some "patches" as simple as these.

  2. Rosa Diez Angeles Roig says:

I was stunned, with what I just read. My comment is directed especially to Gerardo. Dear Gerardo, as you can see, I answer you with a name and surname. As a couple from Txin, that is Javier Ruiz Cenzano, I have to tell you that, as president of Adama, he is fighting, at the cost of health, money and headaches, because art benefits a city like Denia. organizing events for the enjoyment and enjoyment of all those who visit the city. And as Javier's partner, dear Gerardo, I tell you ……………… I hope YOU enjoy the respect and affection felt by his true friends. As for intimate …… .. de las Font ………… sorry, but you're wrong. Txin has a relationship as president that is, to go through the councilor for culture, to organize events. with all the respect that this entails. so Mr. Gerardo, inform yourself before speaking. sincerely, Rosa A. Roig
PS I'm not talking about the costumes ... because it seems out of place ... ... ... ... gentlemen we are talking about some very respectable people, and you have shown, take things out of context

  3. txin says:

I think I have to clarify many things ……
I collaborate with Denia.com… .without any personal profit and only promoting how many exhibitions are made …… .inviting everyone to see them… without criticizing the artists.
At the same time I am the president of Adama ... an association ... of artists where everyone fits, with which I can favor everyone without distinction, but I have little weight to favor anyone ... and like Adama ... a group of artists are taking art to the street …… requesting help from the city council culture for events… and they only support what they can… costing all associates time and money.
In the case of associate Juana Maria Noguera I have to say …… that she exhibited some paintings… .all on the pansa …… in her day… ..by donating most of them to the city council… now she has put her paintings in public view…. .to enhance a beautiful place in Denia… .that is to say that everything he does is motivated to empower Denia who he loves… ..even painting away from his usual work as an artist.
And I am very sorry that those who collaborate with others are criticized ... .. (without any profit motive) and with such a crude way of messing with the way of dressing or who is surrounded ... in this case the people in charge of the Place of the event.
I just have to say that always ... you have to inform yourself before verbally attacking for no reason or reason.
And for as much information as you want, I am at your disposal, in person, to clarify any questions ...

  4. Juana María Noguera says:

Good afternoon Mrs. Rosa: I see that you lacked time to get home and write your comment so not very truthful. Didn't you hear what the Councilor for Culture said? Didn't you say that this was the beginning of a project to promote tourism? Why didn't you come up with "something" to promote Tourism (which is the only thing we have left? You could have made some bobbin doilies, or some pasta, some ceramic or whatever. It occurred to me to paint the Cova Tallà, with the idea of attracting people to Denia. Do you really believe that I have been paid for the paintings, the canvases ... " (never better said)
On our clothes, I'll also be wrong, of course we were dressed It would be much, with how cold it was.
Do something for Denia and I assure you that it will also become a «plugged in», but do not expect any benefit, you would be waiting. What a pity that he did not understand Pepa's message, despite being present!

  5. Juana María Noguera says:

Good afternoon Obdulia: I think it's the only one you understood what you want to achieve with the exhibition of pictures of Cova Tallà..
I had to read me a barbarities that are unparalleled: if suits if plugs, if there are people who have to spend Christmas (do not understand anything) to me nobody gives me anything and my contribution is selfless, indeed, to promote tourism, which is all we want to encourage Font queda.Pepa everything typical of Denia, to attract the turismo.Da pity that things get confused and do malditas.A you. Thank you! Juana Maria

  6. Griselda says:

It is clear, for me that I am a painter (without plug) and Denia, the Department of Culture is becoming the festival of egos and easy money.

  7. Gerardo says:

The tourist office will now serve as a showcase to sell pictures of Juana María Noguera and on the other artists plugged by Javier Ruiz txin, collaborator and close friend of the Font, then all to share the benefits, financing the project with public funds, of course.

  8. denia paco says:

Do not go alone torso because they want to teach well suits brand that bought aposta for pre-programmed to show off their vanities, with the amount of people who are starving in Denia these times, event seems to me a beautiful picture.

  9. Rosa saez says:

Which they appear in the photo are Councilwoman culture Pepa Font and two plugged usual, Maribel Font and Juana Maria Noguera. all in the family, and in multiphase plugs.

  10. Obdulia says:
