The girl Amelia Garcia and Colegio Cervantes won the competition of Christmas cards and school nativity scenes

Councilor for Education, Pepa Sivera, delivered yesterday the awards and diplomas of participation of the eighteenth edition of the card contests Christmas and nativity scenes in schools.

The student of 3º of Primary School school PaidosAmelia García Fernández, was winner of Christmas cards. His work illustrated the Christmas greeting Dénia City Council next 2013. This year, he does the drawing of the winner of the previous edition of the contest, Paula Anahi Ayala Román, school Pou de la Muntanya.

The following schoolchildren obtained a diploma of finalists: Youssef Zniter (Cervantes school); Sofía Ordóñez Acevedo (Pou de la Muntanya); Mar Marí Mora (Pou de la Muntanya); Vicen García Herreros (Les Vessanes); Rita Martínez Marsal (Alfa & Omega) and Natalia Ripoll Ortolá (Pou de la Muntanya). Likewise, another twenty-five participants received their accésit diploma for the quality of the papers presented.

Regarding the contest of Nativity scenes in schools, which also calls for the Department of Education, the winner of this year has been the school Cervantes. The second prize went to the school assembly Llebeig and the third for the Marist nativity scene. By staging, creativity and innovation, the jury awarded a special mention to the birth of special school Raquel Payà. Finally, the Pou colleges and Les Vessanes Muntanya received a certificate of participation.
