The Nao Victoria docks in Dénia for four days

May 10 from 2018 - 07: 59

This Thursday a historic ship arrives in Dénia: the Nao Victoria, a replica of the ship in which the explorers Fernando de Magallanes and Juan Sebastián Elcano completed the first round the world between 1519 and 1522.

This floating museum, 26 meters long and 7 meters wide, was built for the 92 Expo and is now coming to the capital of the Marina Alta thanks to the Salom Sabar Foundation, an entity created in 2015 with the purpose of "take care of Dénia, its sea and its surroundings; enhance and enjoy culture, travel, nautical activities and good friendship", in collaboration with the Nao Victoria Foundation and the City Council of Dénia.

From today and until the 13 of May, this impressive ship will be docked in the port of Dénia, next to the Moll del Martell, and can be visited from 14 to 20 hours, on Thursday and Friday, and from 10 to 20 hours on Saturday and Sunday. The entrance price for adults is 4 euros and for children (from 5 to 10 years) of 2 euros. There is also a family ticket (2 adults and up to 3 children) at the price of 10 euros. The tickets can be purchased on the same boat or through the website of the Nao Victoria Foundation.
