Sunday February 22 took place in Alicante the celebration of Andalucia Day, which took place on the esplanade of the shell in Alicante. This event was attended by all Andalusia houses belonging to Fecuas (Cultural Federation of Andalusia in southern Valencia), among which is next to Alicante Denia, Calpe, Benidorm, Jávea, Ibi, Alcoy, San Juan, San Vicente del Raspeig, Torrevieja, and Molina de Segura (Murcia).
The event was chaired by the mayor of Alicante, Carlos Castle Marquez; the Bellea del Foc 2015, Andrea Villatoro; the president of the association of Fogueres, Alberto Gasco and the president of Fecus, Juan Diego Martinez Sánchez.
It was an act open to the public in which Andalusian art and culture was exhibited through music and the colorful costumes worn by the participants in the day.
