The Department of Sports of the Dénia City Council and the Union Cycliste Montgó They have organized the march cyclist 1.ª La Gamba, a 137-kilometre route that will pass through places in the regions of the Marina Alta, Marina Baixa and El Comtat focused on cyclists of all levels. The march will take place on Sunday, April 27, starting and finishing at the Dénia municipal sports center.
Councilor for Sports, Juan Carlos Signes, has highlighted the impact that the initiative is having, in which nearly 300 participants are already registered, and has congratulated the Montgó Cycling Union "because he is doing an excellent job" the Organisation.
The club president Manuel Díaz has indicated that this is a march focused on recreational sports field, "but without neglecting the competitive level".
The first three finishers will obtain the trophy, both in the men's and women's categories, the club with the most participants and the club that moves from farthest to participate in this event.
The day before the march, participants and guests will enjoy cultural and leisure activities in the maritime station.
