Today will be a big day in Jesus Pobre. After the declaration of L'Escaldà de la Pansa As an Intangible Cultural Asset, this afternoon an act of presentation and celebration of this recognition will be held at the EATIM.
It will be at 20:00 p.m., and the presence of Ximo Puig, president of the Generalitat Valenciana.
It should be remembered that last Friday, August 3, the plenary session of the Consell approved the decree declaring l'Escaldà as an asset of intangible cultural interest, a name that refers to the process of transforming the muscatel grape into a raisin. This process is still done in the regions of La Marina Alta, La Marina Baixa, La Safor and La Vall d'Albaida.
It has been three years of efforts so that this traditional process, which is recalled each year in the Jesus Pobre riurau, receives the desired recognition.
