With an eye to the large influx of visitors Dénia expects to receive during the summer season, the City Council has made the decision to convert the land for the second health center, on Avenida Miguel Hernéndez in a car park in which it is estimated which holds about 200 vehicles.
Of course, it is a temporary car park, until the construction of the health center is carried out. In this regard, the councilor for territory and urban quality, Maria Josep Ripoll, has explained that it is expected that in the plenary session of next June the city council approves the transfer of the land to the Ministry so that once and for all the much-demanded second health center is built.
Meanwhile, visitors arriving this summer will have a new place to park their vehicles, which is just a stone's throw from the port and very close to the city center, where they can get there by crossing the tunnel of the castle.
The City Council has already informed that it is working on the authorization of similar car parks that will be announced in the coming weeks.

This week the refurbishment works of the old Caldera del Gas, on Joan Fuster Avenue, have been completed. The work consisted of filling with sand to prevent the accumulation of water, which attracted many mosquitoes and insects to the area and caused numerous complaints from neighbors.
