Dénia City Council has given the green light to hire a civil engineer for four months in the Department of Works and Services.
Among other functions, this technician will be in charge of carrying out the determination, development and treatment of the blocked files in relation to the return of guarantees in the department; the advice for the development of urban infrastructures; the records of major and minor works in progress and the works receipts requested for being already executed.
During the time in which he is hired he must carry out a detailed study of the current operation of the municipal department of Works and Projects, an action that obeys the situation denounced by the mayor Vicente Chelet, Who said a few weeks ago that since assuming the department's powers last October found "Licenses granted without guarantees, guarantees that are not returned without more and lack of follow-up of the files".
