The school year has not yet finished and we already have a first proposal for the next year's calendar. The Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sports will propose the school calendar for the 2019-2020 academic year at the union table. The proposal establishes the day September 9 the beginning of the school year for the students of Infant, Primary, Secondary, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training.
According to the 2019-2020 calendar, school activities Infant and Primary Education will finish the June 18, and those of Secondary, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training will finish the June 16. The school activities of Infant and Primary school will involve 845 and 855 periods of school; the first two Secondary courses will be given between 1.010 and 1.022 periods, while in the third and fourth years two more weekly periods will be added.
With regard to the calendar of the rest of the courses, the students of the basic qualification training programs will start the 23 in September and the 16 in June will finish, and the students of Basic Vocational Training of second chance will start the activities on September 9 and The 16 will finish in June.
In formation of adults, the 17 will begin in September and the 12 in June will be completed; in sporting and artistic education, 23 will be attended from September to 16 in June, and language lessons from 1 from 2019 to 24 from June to 2020.
Vacation period
The vacations of Christmas are established from 23 from December to 6 from January, the two days included, and those of Easter, from the 9 to the 20 of April of 2020, also the two included.
