Next 29 November Artistic Agrupació Musical de Dénia held the traditional concert in honor of St. Cecilia, the patron saint of music, and will be a special day for ten young people from that moment will join, officially, the Dénia band.
Lola Gimeno (bassoon), Alba González (trombone), Pepa Ivars (trumpet), Marta Lobo (clarinet), Raúl Monserrat (percussion), Mar Olivencia (cello), Marta Ramos (bassoon), Carlos Requena (trumpet), Óscar Requena (horn) and Paz Salort (clarinet) will be accompanied by their sponsors before the concert begins and will receive the instruments with which they will participate in the Agrupació.
Santa Cecilia concert this year will be led by Frank de Vuyst and offer five parts: Appalachian Overture James Barnes, Three Spanish ancient dances, Joaquin Mim-Culmell and JV Diaz; Hannibal Mario Burki; List ShcindlerBy John Williams, the only Christian Pellicer, and finally InchonBy Robert W. Smith.
The concert will be at 20: 30 hours in Dénia Social Center and admission is free.
