For more than 20 years, the dance group Dianium Dansa is dedicated to the recovery and diffusion of the traditional Valencian dances and, by extension, the folklore and the customs of our lands. The recovery of the dances of the Corpus of Dénia has centered the more intense research work that they have developed in Dénia and in other municipalities of the Comunitat Valenciana, committed especially with the conservation and diffusion of the traditions. Currently Dianne Dansa around 55 people, organized in different age groups, from the 3 years.

Agustí Moreno, secretary of Dianium Dansa, explains how the recovery of the Dénia traditions that began in the years 80: "We did an important search in the Archive of Denia. All the writings were practically destroyed, but we obtained documents that accredited the purchase of material for the making of the dance dress of the momos, which is the most distinguished of the Corpus, and, from there, the procession of Corpus begins to mount ". Regarding the adaptation of the dances, Agustí Moreno points out that "we do not dissociate tradition and reality; We have been lucky enough to meet with open people who are interested and respect the traditions of the people and we have counted and have all the facilities of the Catholic Church.

Another part of the process of recovery of the dances is to adapt by looking at other places where they have a wider range of possibilities, such as Xàtiva, "the cradle of Valencian folklore dances" according to Agustí Moreno.

Dianium Dansa has shown throughout Europe the traditional dances of our lands. Manolo Mahiques, member of the association, tells us about the Europeadas: "once a year this European festival dedicated to folklore is organized in a different country, which brings together 5000 and 6000 people linked to the dance. We have participated in numerous editions, such as those held in Denmark, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France and Belgium. In Spain they have been held twice in the city of Zamora. " Dianium Dansa is a very dynamic training, always ready to take part in meetings and parties related to traditional dance and music. Participates, year after year, in the Mostra de Dansa Folklòrica organized by the City of Dénia, in different dance meetings, in trobades and exchanges with groups from other points of the Valencian Community and from other provinces.

Regarding the evolution of the group, the two members of Dianium Dansa express that they would like to have more support from the institutions and the people in general to promote the preservation and diffusion of traditions, music and dances: We would like all the people to become aware of the importance of traditions and to help keep them alive, that we would not end up losing roots, that in schools we could teach traditional dances and music, which would be part of compulsory education.
