The department of automotive IES María Ibars Denia has set an objective: bringing the Institute to companies in the sector to share with students their experiences, new technologies and how they work, because they understand that today's students workers will be in the not too distant future.
That is why we have launched a series of seminars with seeking to meet the needs of the sector to form good professionals. "For that we need companies to understand training as an investment, participating in these types of events and providing all kinds of updated resources"They say from the institute.
The first of those days was held last Friday, February 17. The Department of Transportation and Maintenance of Vehicles organized the day Preparation of Competition Engines, in which they had the presence of Jaume García, managing director of workshops García Racing de Pedreguer, former student of the institute and expert of recognized prestige at national level , within the world of 2-stroke engine competition.
The second part of the day took place in the workshop, where they could see the actual application on two motorcycles racing anything seen before. To end a small circuit inside the school yard where the two bikes rolled a few minutes, and where the horses could verify that these small engines are capable of delivering improvised.
