The images of the sailor Denia, which lives facing the Mediterranean, have been the clear protagonists of the nineteenth Photo Contest topic Dénia Summoning the Department of Culture.
The winner of the first prize in the tourism section has been Nit to the Gerro tower, Paco Costa Cervera (Jesus Pobre), while the image Marineta, Paco Adsuar Pons, has won the first prize in the art form, both provided with 600 euros.
The second prizes in these two modalities have been for the xiringuito, Jaume Donderis Serra, Denia, in tourist section, and correfocs the Dianense Jean Fleche has won the second prize in the art section. Both 300 euros as prize takes.
The jury was composed by the Councilor for Culture, Pepa Sivera; photographer Antonio Moya; Tourism Eva technique Asperilla and Miguel Ángel Ivars degree in Fine Arts.
In this edition a total of 51 photographs in the artistic modality and 52 in tourism have been presented. A selection of 24 images of each modality, including those awarded, will be displayed in the Grand Room of the Municipal House of Culture Denia of 16 2 April to May.
