Dénia City Council has begun a round of contacts with the heads of the University of Alicante to achieve turn the city into university center of this public institution.
On Friday they met in the mayor's office Vicent Grimalt, Rafa Carrió y Óscar Mengual with the Vice President for Culture, Sports and Language Policy of the University, Carles Cortés, Vice President and Director, Mar Iglesias, to begin work on the signing of an agreement.
They expect the City Council in the coming weeks both administrations materialize the terms of the agreement will mark the collaboration between the city and the University.
