The Dénia City Council has prepared an interesting cultural program for this summer, full of entertainment for all tastes. Open-air cinema, live music and traditional dance will be the protagonists of this cultural offer that promises to fill the Dianense nights with charm.
Nights in Les Bassetes
The Parc des Bassetes will host the performance outdoor swing de la Marina Lindy Hop and Swingouts Quartet (July 19), the proposal of Rebeca Carmona, Juan Siddi, Rafael del Kiri and Jorge del Kiri and the students of the Rebeca Carmona flamenco school in tablao nights (2 August).

The Sonafilm in Dénia
Music and cinema will come together at Sonafilm on August 23 and 25. The first day will be the presentation of the book by Frederic Torres, The Music Behind the Mask: The Superheroic Age Vol.1, (Kane editions). This work reviews the soundtracks of superhero and superheroine movies. They will be able to discover it by the hand of its author on Wednesday, August 23, at 20:00 p.m., in the Dénia Municipal Library (calle de Sant Josep, 6).
On the other hand, on Friday, August 25, at 20:00 p.m., in the auditorium theater of the Social Center, there will be a Tarantino Unchained. A journey through Quentin Tarantino's cinematographic universe, by The Pop Culture Band. The 12 musicians on stage will perform mythical songs from Trantino's feature films. XII edition of the RiuRau Film Festival
From August 24 to September 2, the XII edition of the RiuRau Film Festival will take place. This year short films will be screened in the Torrecremada park in Dénia on August 26 and 27; in the riurau d'Arnauada de Xàbia on August 24 and 25, and in the great Riurau de Jesús Pobre on September 1 and 2, at 21:30 p.m.

XXX Dance Show
For those people interested in traditional dances, the Dénia City Council organizes the thirty edition of the Folk Dance Show, between September 1 and 3, in the Consell square.
The Show will begin with the Naz Dnaza Theater group from Kazakhstan, on Friday, September 1, at 22:00 p.m. On the second day, September 2, the Juan Navarro Cultural Folk Association of Torremolinos (Málaga), at 22:00 p.m.
Finally, the group of the Marina Alta Dianium Dansa de Dénia, at 21:00 p.m., on September 3. Admission to the performances is free.
