Lecture series Dénia at War: War in the French

The conference cycle Dénia en Guerra continues this Thursday, 13 in October, talking about La Guerra del Francés. The first part will be done by the Dianense historian Javier Calvo, who will talk about the Sources on the defense of Dénia in the War of Independence.

Next, María Dolores Herrero Fernández-Quesada, Titular Professor of the Department of Modern History of the Complutense University of Madrid, will speak. Artillery and its impact on war from its origins to the beginning of the 19th century.

The talk will begin at 19: 30 hours at La Sala del Dénia Castle, and the entrance is free until full capacity is reached.
