This Saturday, February 10, the Municipal Public Library of Dénia is celebrating. Its fifth anniversary is commemorated since its opening in the facilities of the house located on Sant Josep Street, number 6. This milestone marked a significant change after more than four decades of residence in the House of Culture.
The celebration of the fifth anniversary includes a series of activities for citizens, who have had the opportunity to participate in various recreational proposals. Among the activities organized were guided tours of the building, an old manor house dating from the late 19th century. These visits have allowed attendees to access some rooms usually closed to the public, as well as enjoy the terrace with panoramic views of the surroundings.
On Friday, February 9, at 19:30 p.m., a special show took place in the Library, presenting Concertologist, a music and humor show starring Pepa Cases, known as the pepa, accompanied by Héctor Tirado.
The celebration continues this Saturday with an open house. From 10 in the morning, visitors have been able to enjoy activities such as a photocall on the terrace of the viewing tower, guided tours of the building, as well as entertainment for the little ones, including face painting and balloon twisting. At 12 noon, the story-telling took place for family audiences. The sleep swallower, directed by Hannah Alba.
