The president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazón, has visited different Fallas commissions of Dénia accompanied by the Falleras Mayores Mar Moncho and Candela Marco, their courts of honor and the mayor of the town, Vicent Grimalt.
During his visit, the head of the Consell highlighted "the art, hospitality and internationalization" of these festivals. In this sense, he has referred to the 'fallero plane' that he will receive tomorrow with "the children and grandchildren of immigrants from the Valencian Community, many of them from the Marina Alta, who return to our territory once a year to visit their land and their traditions.
Likewise, he has made reference to the 'plantà' of the Fallas as "the day of magic where everything begins" and has stressed that from the Fallero point of view "Dénia symbolizes the openness to tourism with a cosmopolitan facet open to the world."
