The countdown has begun. Tomorrow, Saturday, July 7, the festivals of Dénia in honor of the Santíssima Sang. This year, just as it was done in 2017, the festivities will kick off with a chupinazo that will be fired at 13:00 p.m. from Glorieta.
The chosen ones for the shot have been Blanca Fernández and Marta Escobar, who have been happy to be in charge of giving an official start to the festivities.
They, along with the rest of the fifths, which this year add up to 300, have everything ready for the week of festivities that lie ahead. On Saturday, at the 10: 30 hours, they will start touring the streets of the city accompanied by the charanga to distribute the holiday books. At 12: 30 will focus on Els Quatre Cantons to shoot the chupinazo, and continue the party with the mobile that will animate the announcer Sergio Dénia.
In the afternoon, from the 17: 00 hours, they will animate the Calle Marques de Campo before the first entrance of bulls, the most multitudinous of those that are made in the week of celebrations, that will give beginning to the 19: 00 hours.
