Domingo 5, at 21 hours, in C / La Vïa
The dance group Dianium Dansa has been dedicated for more than twenty years to the recovery and diffusion of the traditional Valencian dances and, by extension, of the folklore and the customs of these lands. The recovery of the dances of the Corpus of Dénia has focused the research work more intense that they have developed in Dénia and in other municipis of the Valencian Community especially committed to the conservation and diffusion of the traditions. At the moment the group is formed by fifty-five components between children and adults, and acts accompanied by Rondalla Daniya and also with "tabalet i dolçaina".
Rondalla Daniya was born in the year 1992 from l'Escola d'Educandos of Rondalla Juvenil of CP Cervantes, directed by Manolo Olivencia and Maite Jaén. In 1994 the Rondalla is constituted as a Cultural Association, with the main objective of recovering, spreading and promoting Valencian popular culture. Since its inception has developed an intense activity and currently have a very varied repertoire, which integrates from classical works to pieces of traditional Valencian music. Recently, Rondalla Daniya has participated in the II Aplec of Rondalles de Dénia, in which he presented the CD "Rondalla Daniya", recorded through the Artístics Foment d'Entitats Culturals program of Dénia, of the Department of Culture.
It seems to me that the Valencian culture must be respected and supported by all, and both Dianium and Daniya have fought for it.
Maite tu també et mereixes que jo també et vullga com tu a mi.
