The program With your feet in the sand is already underway, from Monday, July 26 to August 27, on the accessible beach of the Punta del Raset. One more summer, the Dénia City Council and the Amadem association have put into operation this leisure alternative for people with functional diversity: a recreational area on the beach, which also seeks to provide a break for families.
This year, in addition, as a result of the collaboration of the AXA Foundation and the Red Cross, the service is expanded with a TASOC, a sociocultural activities technician. Likewise, all the security and prevention measures for COVID introduced last summer are reinforced: expansion of the space with two tents, four activity tables and health protocol.
The program, with more than a decade of history, includes various activities such as crafts, walks in the sand, bathing in the sea or physical exercise, and runs from Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 14 p.m.
