Vicente Chelet responds to criticism of the Socialists

19 September 2011 - 01: 46

After being accused by the Socialists of breaching the Ordinance Regulating green spaces and urban landscape Dénia approved in the plenary session of December 18 2008 of the refurbishment of the squares of the City Council, the Consell and Diana Street, Vicente Chelet has wanted to respond to Socialists of Dénia.

According to the mayor of Finance, and referring to the Commercial Action Plan that Dianense PSPV himself made in his time of government, Diana Street is a shopping street so regardless of being pedestrian, placing trees on the sidewalks could prevent the viewing windows.

Chelet recalled that the government Ana Kringe 750 has planted trees in Dénia, when the government of Paqui Viciano placed a tree in the Plaza Mariana pineda.

With regard to the judgment that the City must pay a construction company, Chelet recalled that the two assessments were made in the year and in the year 2004 2006. Finally, according to Chelet in January 2008 it was approved in full municipal returning the acquisition of such exploitation and yet proceeded to do so. For this reason, just as has emphasized the mayor, the government team understood that four years pass this return had already prescribed.

What ridiculous arguments, Mr. Chelet! That Mrs. Kringe has planted 750 trees, it has nothing to do with Diana street being "treeless". Are you telling me that the trees don't let you see the shop windows? Please! Then, let's sweep away the Jacarandás on the neighboring street, and let's leave the center as a wasteland, like Macondo at noon, yes, continue to "plant" the street with crusty and rusty flowerpots, and fill them with season plants that I'll tell you how long they will last ... And water them by show of hands, of course, given the lack of personnel, you can propose to the merchants that each one water their flowerpot and replace the plants, it may serve as occupational therapy. given the crisis that we suffer. Anyway, do not come to me with milongas that we already have enough Tango with the adjacent squares.
