Its function is to make us aware of the risks of breaking these measures, as well as to ask us to be responsible and avoid any action that could harm society as a whole. But what if it is that team itself that ignores the regulations? Who informs the informants?
Yesterday the complaint of the CSIF union was made public after detecting a positive among this staff. Apparently, last Friday the colleagues who were in contact with this person with coronavirus found out about the situation unofficially and, without receiving any support or information about the protocol from the coordination team, they had to improvise their actions. To go or not to go to work?
According to what Las Provincias made public yesterday, the coordinator "forced" the workers to get into their jobs without any kind of preventive measure, being the Generalitat employees themselves who begged for PCR tests to be carried out. The coordinator insisted and it was when each worker decided whether to be guided by the words of their superior or by the sanitary measures that are so deeply rooted for the service they provide.
Those who decided to undertake their own preventive measures called their health centers to report what had happened, sending them directly to their homes to quarantine while waiting for PCR tests.
The coordinator opted for the controversial Invassat protocol, which is far from that of Public Health. While the latter urges to isolate oneself in the event of contact with a positive and is committed to carrying out PCR tests, the Invassat company is committed to not forcing the PCR if it had not been in contact with the positive during the last 2 days. This lack of coordination between Public Health and Invassat is what the union denounces, as well as the irregular situation of the workers for forcing them to work without trials.
