Dénia has celebrated today in the House of Culture the first Meeting of Mediator Students, with the participation of about 120 secondary school students from the three institutes of the city (Historian Chabás, Maria Ibars and Sort de la Mar) and the school Paidos.
The councilors of Education, Melani Ivars, and Citizen Security, Javier Scotto, have welcomed young people insisting on the value of mediation, empathy and dialogue, as a fundamental tool to avoid conflicts.
The objective of the day, in which the Local Police Mediation Unit was presented to the students by the agents Juanjo Palacios and Juanjo Bordes, is that the schoolchildren can complete the training they have already received in the respective centers on mediation and share and unify actions.
