The Consortium for the Economic Recovery of the Marina Alta (CREAMA) has recently received a grant from SERVEF, co-financed by the ESF, amounting to 412.084 euros and which will allow the fifth Marina Alta Employment Workshop to be launched.

The Employment Workshop will be taught around two specialties: Auxiliary Activities in Nurseries, gardens and gardening centers and Social Health Care for dependents in social institutions, allowing to obtain a professional qualification and a job to 30 citizens of the region who are in unemployment situation.

Geriatric care

This is the only employment workshop taught in the county in which students will obtain a certificate with these characteristics, and in some sectors such as geriatric, is already mandatory and essential to work.

The specialty of geriatric care will be held at the Agency Creama of Benissa, while specialty gardening will be taught in Dénia agency. The practical parts of both specialties will take place in the different municipalities that make up the Consortium, and that do not have an employment workshop at the municipal level.
