During the afternoon of Thursday, the main south exit of Dénia has become almost impassable due to a sewage leak. This has quickly flooded part of the road, causing the fall of a motorcycle with two occupants that was circulating on the road.
The unpleasant leak has taken place on the Dénia road to Xàbia, at the height of the southern breakwater, just in front of the hotel. Despite the fact that sewage did not stop coming out of it, the street has remained open to traffic for a while, long enough for a motorcycle to have an accident when it slipped on the puddle. Luckily, the two occupants have been able to get up with the help of witnesses and have not required medical attention.
Shortly after the Local Police arrived to verify that, indeed, there had been a leak at the scene.
