The first informative measure by the Department of Public Safety of the City of Dénia catering establishments is already done: they have sent a letter to bars and restaurants in the city APRA remind "the need to give exact compliance to the municipal ordinance of occupation of public roads with tables and chairs".
The area councilor, Javier ScottoHe recalled that "We are aware that the majority complies, the offenders do not represent the rest of the bars and restaurants, but it is necessary to implement informative measures such as these to raise awareness in the entire sector of the need to comply with the regulations and project the best tourist image of Dénia ".
That is why, after the matenida meeting in late July with members of Aehtma, the council has the shipment of informative missives. In them, the council recalled that "Any occupation of public roads must have the express and annual authorization. The minimum width of the sidewalk to obtain the authorization is 3 meters, which means that the payment of the occupation is not by itself sufficient to understand the authorization granted , but the corresponding resolution must be available ".
The letter also affects the "prohibition of using the authorized furniture as a warehouse or place of deposit within or outside the established schedule, even if this occurs within the authorized public domain, resulting in the withdrawal by the City Council itself to this storage".
Finally, the information sent to the hoteliers remember "Any breach of the municipal ordinance detected by the Police and / or inspection services will result in the initiation of the corresponding disciplinary proceedings, without prejudice to the adoption of the resulting measures, such as the removal of the installed furniture itself".
