Recently released the new season, and after weeks of rest, the body of a dancer usually resent the demands of the beloved September. In all cases, hours of training and rehearsals, require a ritual of warm-up and preparation before each session.
An interesting fact is that, as discovered by a team of researchers from the University College London (UCL), dancers are able to continue training mentally when an injury prevents them from doing it physically. But there is a protocol and different resources to avoid this situation.
In the same way that stretches prior to the physical requirement are important, the warm-up in the dancers is fundamental: after the muscles are in passive state for hours, each of them, and consequently, each limb of the body, receives an irrigation slow blood flow, and when starting a physical effort this flow begins to increase gradually. The heating thus helps to avoid sudden contraction damage, because if we get into class without having prepared the body muscles will begin to suffer lengthening and clumsy contractions for not receiving sufficient blood flow.
Sessions of small repetitive and sustained movements that increase their intensity gradually, prepare our muscles. But there are other elements or tools that can help maintain the high temperature and this optimal watering they need to work at 100%: polyester or wool garments or the new boots warm up of Bloch are products that are in the market and facilitate the dancer's work prior to training.
