Continuing its support to the group of persons with disabilities and in order to get your reality as many people as possible, Condemned to Curb has made a documentary that reality of these people is reflected through testimonies and real experiences of people in the region.
Made by the regional production company the Takataka, A vision of Disability It has been divided into three sections: in the first block is reviewed through reflections of family members, volunteers and people with disabilities, the reality of this group. In the second block specific cases of disabled persons is counted in first person, and the third and final block shows the activities that users Condemned to curb.
According to Romu Soler, responsible for the documentary, audiovisual displays in realistic tone, in a way sometimes raw and sometimes hopeful, the daily life of people with disabilities in our region. For its part, the Councilor for Social Welfare, Pepa Sivera, affirms that he stays with the positive message of the piece and encouraged people to "not be afraid to open your eyes to this reality".
President Sentenced to Curb, Jimmy Higueras, He wanted to seize the presentation of this documentary to denounce the reality of this group, many times forgotten and whose rights are frustrated on many occasions. In turn, Higueras thanked the support of the Department of Sports and Juan Carlos Signes in particular the School of Adapted Sports Denia every year helps dozens of users with disabilities.
The documentary A view of disability It will be presented on Thursday, September 18, at 20.30 pm in the auditorium of the Social Center of Denia. Admission is free to cover the capacity of the room.
