All the festivals of Dénia in honor of the Santíssima Sang are just around the corner. From July 6 to 14, the city will be filled with proposals for all ages and tastes, as explained by the acting councilor for festivals, Óscar Mengual.
Un festival program from which several headlines are extracted. The first, that the festivities will kick off with the longest chupinazo in history. And it is that, as in previous years, at 13:00 p.m. the announcing rocket will be fired from Glorieta, where the announcer Sergio Dénia will be responsible for entertaining the day. A music that will last until midnight, since from the 21: 00 hours will take over the group Juntos y Revueltos.

Three spaces
The activities of the Dénia festival program will be divided into three spaces: La Vía street, where musical shows will be held; the Plaza del Consell, which will host children's activities in the afternoon, and music and monologues at night; and Torrecremada, where activities for the youngest will take place for four nights.
Circus and music in the Plaza del Consell
Every day, except for the 13 Saturday in July, the Consell square will house children's activities in the afternoon, among which the 7 Sunday shows or the performance of the Ramonets children's group on Thursday 11 day.
At night, the activities of the square will be directed to the adult public, with performances such as the Marina Big Band (Monday, 8 in July) or the monologue night scheduled for Thursday's 11 day in July.
Musical proposals in La Via street
La Vía Street will host, once again, the great musical shows of the program of parties that will begin on Saturday 6 of July with the musical The Big Show; the Abba Live musical theater on Sunday 7 day; the musical of Aladdin on Monday 8 or the traditional concert of the Agrupació Musical de Dénia of Wednesday 10 of July. For the 12 day Friday, the 500 nights band show, a tribute to Joaquín Sabina, has been scheduled, while the parties in that scenario will be the performance of the wizard Yunke on Sunday 14 at 21: 30 hours.
Young area in Torrecremada
The Torrecremada esplanade will host, on 9, 10, 11 and 12 days in July, night shows for the youngest, which include different discomobiles starting at midnight. In addition, the esplanade will be the scene of the pyromusical show that will close the holidays of Dénia, and that this year advances its schedule to the 23: 30 hours.
300 fifth and fifth
The fifth will have this year, again, a special role. Around 300 young people born in 2001 form this year the quintà 2019, who will be responsible for distributing the holiday books during the days leading up to the party in the different shops in the city.
The rocks, in the Benidorm square but without confirmation
Like last year, the rocks of Bous a la Mar They will be located in the Plaza de Benidorm, at the end of the Paseo del Puerto. As explained by the councilor for festivals, the documentation has been sent in a timely manner to the Department of Ports, but at the moment they have no confirmation.
The councilor has acknowledged that they do not have "Plan B" but they are sure that the authorization will arrive in time to place the rocks in that place.
