A hundred people participate in the addiction prevention workshops 'Educant en el present'

Nearly a hundred people participated in the two informative sessions of the Educant program in the Present, the workshops organized by the Department of Social Welfare through the Community Prevention of Addictive Behaviors Unit (UPCCA).

The first appointment with mothers and fathers of Dénia was the workshop "From the norms and limits to positive growth: educating the adults of the future". The speaker was Juanjo Sala, psychologist of the UPCCA Dénia, of the Addiction Treatment Support Day Center of the AEPA Foundation in Dénia and of the ACOMAAD association; Master in Family Management, specialization in Mediation (UV) and addictive behaviors (UAB).

The next appointment was the workshop "What is your use of mobile and Internet? Accompany it for responsible use" where the speaker was Inma Camacho, clinical psychologist at UCA Dénia, master's degree in Drug Addiction and other Addictive Disorders at the Alfonso X El Sabio University. She has been an assistant professor at the UV's School of Psychology.

From the organization make a very positive assessment of this action, highlighting especially the involvement of the participants, who have found in these activities a meeting point and reflection for the education of the youngest.
